Deep Healing
Laser therapy — also known as high-intensity laser therapy (HILT) or photobiomodulation — uses specific wavelengths of light to penetrate tissue and stimulate cellular activity. At the cellular level, this promotes faster healing, reduces inflammation, and modulates pain signals — effects that have been documented in an expanding body of clinical research. It’s a non-invasive, painless treatment that requires no incisions, injections, or medications.
At Ethos Physical Therapy, laser therapy is used as one component of our comprehensive treatment plan — not a standalone service. It is particularly useful for reducing acute and chronic pain and inflammation, early stages of injury or post-surgically. A consent form is required prior to laser therapy treatment, which can be completed on our forms page or at the clinic.
